Timothy Gowers and Michael Nielsen have written an article “Massively collaborative mathematics“, focusing primarily on the first Polymath project, for the October issue of Nature.
I’ve been developing CSEs, such as Unsolved problems, history and definitions. The idea is similar to Polymath: “massively collaborative mathematics”. The difference is search engines, the tools. Math Harbour gathers information in Google’s CSEs, rather than wikis. If you have a good url, feel free to contribute it. I hope MH can help you.
