  1. Manin, in his A course in Mathematical Logic , dvoetes a few pages on a discussion of proofs (and their relation with creating understanding of the subject at hand)in mathematics. He ends his discussion with the following sentence: The moral: a good proof is one which makes us wiser

  2. Sorry that I repeat this comment in two distinct comment threads, but don’t count it as spam as I feel it is important enough to repeat twice:

    Sorry for not quite on topic comment.

    I was a creationist earlier, but more detailed study of Bible seems to show that there are more arguments pro evolution in Bible that arguments against evolution.

    I think, what I’ve said about evolution also applies for abiogenesis.
